Enrichment Course: AI Research Skills

Our flagship enrichment program introduces students to the real-world application of artificial intelligence tools in academic and professional settings. Designed for high school and undergraduate students with no prior coding experience, the course teaches students how to:

  • Understand and critique generative AI tools

  • Apply AI to research tasks in the humanities and social sciences

  • Use Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and data extraction for historical or policy research

  • Build powerful Python scripts with the help of AI

Students complete the course with a final project they can showcase in university applications or portfolios. The course emphasizes responsible AI use, ethical research design, and clear communication of findings.

Additional enrichment offerings are in development.
