Research Fellowship

We support academic research that engages deeply with Cambodia across a range of disciplines. The Trellis Research Fellowship reflects our commitment to connecting scholars with the people, institutions, and questions that matter most in Cambodia today. We believe research should not only describe problems but help shape real solutions, and we are honored to collaborate with scholars who share that vision.

Knowledge, Purpose, Change

We are pleased to announce the open call for the inaugural cohort of the Trellis Research Fellowship. This program supports original, independent research focused on Cambodia and aims to connect that work to broader educational and development goals. Fellows will bring academic insight to bear on real-world questions, whether through historical analysis, policy research, or ethnographic fieldwork, all with the goal of contributing to Cambodia’s development and educational future.

Over the course of a one-year term, fellows will have opportunities to share their work, engage with local and international stakeholders, and contribute to a more equitable and skills-focused education landscape in Cambodia. Fellows who complete the program may be invited to continue their involvement in an advisory or leadership role as Trellis expands its research and policy agenda.
