Pursue Original Ideas with Purpose

With one-on-one mentorship, students explore meaningful questions and produce original work that reflects their passions and potential.

Guided Research is Trellis Academic’s individualized mentorship program designed to help students design, execute, and complete original research projects that align with their academic and extracurricular interests. This service prepares students to stand out in competitive university or graduate school admissions by demonstrating initiative, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to engage in self-directed, inquiry-based learning.

The program is modeled after the process used to guide Harvard undergraduates through thesis development and draws from best practices in honors research advising across U.S. peer institutions.
